This one really reminds me of the kern river stout. Its slightly more malty sweet than I prefer but it’s not bad. I would definitely buy this again. It’s really smooth and really dark. I would love to try this On tap. It would probably be nice and creamy.
Pretty good taste initially but fades into a kinda metallic taste. This one might grow on you and wasn’t so bad that I wouldn’t try it again.
Dead guy ale by rogue. Not bad but a little malty sweet for my taste. This slightly reminded me of the Lagunitas Imperial IPA which I wasn’t fond of.

I really liked it. Nice hop bitterness with some citrusy grapefruit flavors and some other nice aromas that were somewhat floral. If you like IPAs this is worth trying if you can find it.

Denogginizer Imperial IPA by Drake’s Brewing
I like the hop flavors I taste, but the crystal malts they added to “balance” the hops created a nasty sweetness that was hard for me to enjoy. I won’t be drinking this again. The guy at the store recommended this but I think he might be the only one in Bakersfield CA that likes it. I could barely finish this beer due to the overpowering sweet flavors.
Just started the blog, got a few different beers to try this weekend. It is the weekend right?!
